AndyMark is pleased to work with 221 Robotic Systems for the production of the Wild Swerve gearbox system. Based on designs perfected by Wildstang, FIRST Robotics Team 111, this swerve/crab module is a great solution for creating an omni-directional mobile robot.

This gearbox is shipped unassembled, in kit form. This kit does NOT include a motor, wheel or wheel hub. See accessories for recommended solutions.

This transmission is designed to interface with a CIM motor. It can also be used with an AM Planetary gearbox.

Gear Ratios

These modules are set up to have various overall reductions and speeds, estimated while using a 6" diameter wheel. This gearbox system can be assembled with many different standard ratios. When ordering a gearbox, pick the ratio that is best for your application. The ratios and associated speeds are listed in these gear ratios.

Here is a list of other gear ratio setups, and approximate speeds when using a 6" diameter wheel:
  • Wild Swerve Drive Module with 31.89:1 ratio, at 2.3 feet/second
  • Wild Swerve Drive Module with 21.15:1 ratio, at 3.4 feet/second
  • Wild Swerve Drive Module with 14.88:1 ratio, at 4.8 feet/second
  • Wild Swerve Drive Module with 9.87:1 ratio, at 7.3 feet/second
  • Wild Swerve Drive Module with 6.94:1 ratio, at 10.4 feet/second
  • Wild Swerve Drive Module with 5.36:1 ratio, at 13.4 feet/second
  • Wild Swerve Drive Module with 3.55:1 ratio, at 20.3 feet/second
